SUFFOLK IN THE NEWS: The Boston Globe

12/13/2010

Edwige Elysee, a former military intelligence analyst who served in Iraq and Afghanistan, works in the Suffolk University Veterans Upward Bound office helping other veterans transition to college. Elysee understands how difficult returning home after deployment can be and said ‘that experience makes him a valuable resource for veterans looking to find their way and make their time in college count.’ He attends Suffolk University through the Yellow Ribbon Program and the GI Bill.

The Boston Globe cites Elysee as an example of veterans taking on leadership roles on college campuses in Bringing a veteran presence to campus: Wave of new leaders, thanks to GI Bill.
