Gary Wallace of Suffolk Co-op Speaks to the Boston Chapter of NABA

BOSTON, MA-December 8, 2010—Gary Wallace, Associate Director of Cooperative Education, gave the keynote address at  the Boston Chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants’ Resume Critique Workshop on December 1. This event was held to help accounting students with their resumes by offering them one on one coaching and feedback from Suffolk advisors and representatives from the Big Four Accounting Firms (KPMG, Ernst & Young, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Deloitte).

Mr. Wallace addressed important issues for students looking to find post-graduate careers including examples of good and poor resumes, resume templates, and the harm that could result from inappropriate email names/addresses and Facebook displays. Mr. Wallace ended his speech by answering questions from the twenty-five students in attendance and the representatives from the firms.
