Rebuilding Self-Confidence After Losing Your Job

Jayne M. Mattson
Senior Vice President, Keystone Associates

Yesterday, you completed a large project that came in on time and under budget. You were on top of the world. But today, you’ve been told you’re not needed. You begin to experience feelings of tremendous loss—loss of self-worth, self-confidence, and control. These are common emotions for people who have lost their jobs; they are also productive emotions. Grieving for the job and social community you once had is an important step in the processes of rebuilding your self-confidence and actively engaging in a productive job search.
Jayne Mattson will share self-confidence-building techniques to help mid- to senior-level professionals find their way on the path to finding new employment opportunities.

Sessions are held at the Suffolk Club at the Downtown Harvard Club, One Federal Street, Boston, MA.
Please bring photo identification for entrance to the building.

All sessions are complimentary and begin at 6pm.
In addition to each presentation, there will be a cocktail networking reception. Light hors d’oeuvres will be available, along with a cash bar.

RSVP to Elizabeth Conley at
econley@suffolk.edu or 617.573.8456.
