Two interior design faculty members from the New England School of Art & Design at Suffolk University received first place honors at the 2010 American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) New England Design Excellence Awards.

Karen Clarke, associate professor and co-program director of Interior Design, received the Residential First Place for a kitchen design project, and Jeanne Kopacz, adjunct professor and principal of Allegro Interior Architecture, was awarded Contract First Place for a corporate office over 10,000 square feet.
