Warm Clothing And Food Drive

S.O.U.L.S. promotes Hunger and Homelessness Awareness month

November is Hunger and Homelessness Awareness month and S.O.U.L.S. Community Service and Service Learning Center is sponsoring a warm clothing and canned food drive. Gently-used clothing and non-perishable food items may be donated at various drop boxes on campus throughout the month. This year the shelters have a high need for new socks.

Donation boxes located in:
The HUB in the Donahue lobby
S.O.U.L.S. Center Donahue 209
Residence and Summer Programs
Office of Student Affairs
Ballotti Learning Center
Center for Public Management
Athletics Department
Student Leadership and Involvement
Rappaport Center for Law and Public Service
Residence halls
Various academic departments

Last year the Suffolk community donated more than 2,000 cans and 500 articles of clothing. Food donations benefit the Oasis Coalition. Clothing donations benefit the Boston Rescue Mission and the St. Francis House.
