Dr. Condoleezza Rice
with Maria Stephanos

Thursday, October 28, 7:00pm to 8:30pm
C. Walsh Theatre, Suffolk University

Condolezza Rice: Diplomat, politcal scientist, Stanford University provost, professor, fellow, and concert pianist. Her achievements run the gamut from Soviet and Easter European Affairs Advisor to President George H.W. Bush during the dissolution  of the Soviet Union and the collapse of Communism in Europe, to working to protect the country in the aftermath of 9/11. For the first time, Rice shares her story of how her parents shaped the life of the second woman in our nation's history - and the first black woman - to serve as Secretary of the State. Her story, Extraordinary, Ordinary People: A Memoir of Family, is one of overcoming obstacles of race and gender, coming up through the ranks of academia, and a heady rise into the world of global politics. Rice joins Fox25 News anchor Maria Stephanos to share the little known details of what has contributed to her continuing sucess.
