The Health Care Reform: Yesterday and Tomorrow course from the Center for Advanced Legal Studies will help practitioners and policy-makers understand new federal health insurance reform legislation and its impact on existing Massachusetts policies and programs.

It will cover areas such as dependent coverage for children who have not attained the age of 26, guidance on the coverage gas discount program for PART D plans and Pharmaceutical Manufacturers, the regulation on “grandfathered” health plans under the Affordable Care Act, and the recently published rule on meaningful use of electronic health records.

The course is sponsored with the Health and Biomedical Law Concentration, the Massachusetts Hospital Association, and the Massachusetts Medical Society.
