"Succeeding in Law School"

6/4/2010

Law Professor Herbert N. Ramy, director of Suffolk University Law School’s Academic Support Program, begins hearing from law students almost as soon as they're accepted. They want to know what it takes to succeed in law school.

Ramy has given students much helpful advice over the years, and he consolidates the information in the second edition of Succeeding in Law School.

The latest edition of the book includes new chapters addressing both success  in law school and in the job market.

A new section on legal analysis addresses one of the most common problems professors see on law school exams: the absence of the counterargument.

Added materials on interviewing techniques, creating a writing sample, and writing a resume are designed to help students market themselves to prospective employers.
