Vice-President of the American Bureau for Medical Advancement in China, John R. Watt presents "Advances in Healthcare in Taiwan: And their Application to International Healthcare 1950-2000."

In many respects, a nation is only as strong as the health of its people.  Taiwan has built and effective infrastructure for the delivery of health care services to its population.  Through close cooperation with American and other international health care providers, the quality of health care in Taiwan is as advanced as any available today.  John Watt has assisted in this effort, and is currently research and making more widely known the achievements of this important project.

This event is co-sponsored by the Barbara and Richard M. Rosenberg Institute for East Asian Studies at Suffolk University and the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Boston.  The lecture is free and open to the public.  Light refreshments will be served.  For more information please call 617-973-5341.
