Discussion features Vinod K. Sahney, Ph.D.

With Vinod K. Sahney, Ph.D., Former Senior VP and Chief Strategy Officer, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Massachusetts, and founding board member, Institute for Healthcare Improvement.

Dr. Sahney is an accomplished expert in the health care field, most recently working on the development of annual corporate goals, targets, and company-wide metrics at Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Massachusetts. He is also a visiting professor at the Harvard School of Public Health. Previously, he served as senior vice president and chief project officer at the Henry Ford Health System for 25 years.

Dr. Sahney is also a founding board member of the Cambridge-based Institute for Healthcare Improvement. In addition to authoring more than 50 publications and speaking frequently at national and international conferences, he is a co-author of Reengineering Health Care: Building on CQI.
