• Suffolk MBA Student Appointed Chief Operating Officer


The St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center has announced that Philip Cormier will serve as Chief Operating Officer. He will be held responsible for the financial and operational performance of the company. St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center is a Caritas Family Hospital and teaching affiliate of Tufts University School of Medicine.  Mr. Cormier Joined St. Elizabeth’s this past July.


He graduated from Salem State with a BSBA and is a current MBA student at Suffolk University. He holds more than 20 years of experience in operational and strategic administration for the healthcare industry. He is currently a member of the Healthcare Management Association of Massachusetts.

Mr. Cormier previously served as chief executive officer at Kindred Boston North Shore Hospital and was also chief operating officer and executive vice president of Northeast Hospital Corporation in Beverly.
