Working the Room - The Art of Building Alliances

Kim Provencher Littlefield, MS ’99, Senior Vice President, Keystone Partners
Many of you would rather clean your driveway with a toothbrush than attend a live networking event - but the value of networking cannot be ignored.
Evidence consistently indicates that networking is the most effective way to learn about opportunities and land jobs.  80% of available jobs are never posted. 100% of hiring managers would prefer to hire someone based on a recommendation by a trusted colleague, friend or acquaintance. In this interactive workshop, you will earn the art of networking from a pro. Kim Littlefield will share some simple techniques to help you prepare for networking events, start conversations, present your elevator pitch, and break into and out of conversations.
