Social Media Part I: It's not just about what's for dinner

Donald E. Martelli, VP, Dir. of Digital Communications, MS&L Boston
Employers, inundated with resumes, often seek passive candidates or qualified candidates who aren't necessarily looking for work, but who may be interested if the right job comes along. You need to make it easy for employers to find you online. Moreover, most people know that the best way to find a job is through networking and the help of the internet. This is where social media comes in. Services like Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn can connect you to people you normally wouldn’t have had the chance to meet professionally. Leverage these services and more to make better connections and find the job you really want.  (Social Media Part II will consist of a workshop the following week on November 10th; if you are interested in the workshop please register for that date as well)
