Graduate Student's Thesis Project Wins Award

Connie Fong


Suffolk alumna Connie Fong received first place in the graduate student category of the 2009 International Interior Design Association of New England awards for her thesis project, "A New Generation Genealogy Library."  

Fong, who received her master of arts in Interior Design from the New England School of Art & Design at Suffolk University in May, was awarded a $1,000 scholarship prize. 

Seven New England School of Art & Design students were among the 10 undergraduate and graduate students nominated for 2009 awards.

The IIDA New England Interior Design Award ceremony took place June 23 at the Museum of Fine Arts. The annual event recognizes professional design leaders and promising students from throughout New England.
