William M. Bulger to receive Public Service Award

The John Joseph Moakley Charitable Foundation Eighth Annual Awards Ceremony presents student scholarships and a special public service award at 5 p.m. Thursday, May 21, in the Law School Function Room.

William M. Bulger , the longest serving president of the Massachusetts Senate, former president of the University of Massachusetts, and a Moakley friend and neighbor, will receive the John Joseph Moakley Charitable Foundation Public Service Award. 

The foundation will award more than $110,000 in student scholarships.
