The Honorable Michael Kirby, Justice, High Court of Australia, presents "Constitutional Law, International Law and the Democratic Deficit?" as part of the Donahue Lecture Series sponsored by the Suffolk University Law Review. The luncheon lecture is followed by a panel discussion on "What's at Stake in the 'Foreign Law' Controversy" moderated by Suffolk Law School Dean Alfred C. Aman.

Justice Michael Kirby is one of the seven judges of Australia's highest court, the High Court of Australia.  His lecture deals with the growing use of transnational legal authority in reasoning in courts of the common law tradition.
