In a new translation/adaptation by Melinda Lopez, Marilyn Plotkins directs Federico Garcia Lorca’s classic drama of desire and repression, Blood Wedding. The production will include original music by Claudio Ragattzi.

Special Post-Show Discussion:
Following the Saturday matinee performance on April 4, there will be a talk-back with Blood Wedding translator/adaptor Melinda Lopez, composer Claudio Ragazzi and Professor Sandra Barriales-Bouche from the Department of Humanities and Modern Languages.

Admission is free and open to the public but seating is limited. To make a reservation, please call the Theatre Department at 617.573.8282. All reservations expire 10 minutes prior to curtain. A limited number of seats may be available at the door. Please note: this production contains adult themes and language that may not be suitable for all audiences.
