Elder Law Institute XV

Maximizing community benefits

9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2009
Suffolk University Law School
120 Tremont Street, Boston

Home and other community based programs have been vastly under-utilized as a resource to assist elders in maintaining the least restrictive living arrangements. While many Elder Law attorneys have significant experience in obtaining MassHealth benefits for clients in skilled nursing facilities, a fewer number have experience in assisting elders with obtaining assistance (both financially and medically) that allows the elder to maintain the highest level of independence. Elder Law Institute XV: Maximizing Community Benefits will focus on programs and benefits for elders whose living arrangements have them in places other than skilled nursing facilities.

The Elder Law Institute XV is sponsored with the Massachusetts Chapter of NAELA.
