Four Rams Named to GNAC Weekly Honor Roll

Four Suffolk University Basketball Players have been named to this week's GNAC Weekly Honor Roll. Two members of Suffolk's Men's team, Brian Small (Stoughton, MA) and Mike Gibbons (Ringwood, NJ) and two member from the Suffolk's Women's team, Kerry Bowman (Guilford, CT) and Julieanne Conrad (West Bridgewater, MA).

Senior Brian Small had a season-high 28 points in a Ram's setback to Rivier College last Tuesday. It is the fourth time this season Small has achieved this recognition.

Freshman Mike Gibbons averaged 19 points per game on the week for Suffolk's Men. Gibbons had a season-high 21 points, that included knocking in 5 3pointers in Suffolk's loss to Johnson & Wales on Saturday. Gibbons was named GNAC Rookie of the Week last week when he averaged 16.5 points in Suffolk's two games in the Jim Beaudry Classic hosted by the University of New England.

Kerry Bowman averaged 18 points per game as the Rams went 2-1 on the week. Bowman had 19 points and 6 rebounds in a 75-46 victory over St. Joseph's College (Me.) on Thursday. Bowman was her team's leading scorer with 23 points in a 65-52 loss Saturday to Rivier. Bowman was also named to the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll this season back in November.

Julianne Conrad had a double-double (23 points, 12 rebounds) Thursday night to help lead the Rams to a 75-46 victory over St. Joseph's College (Me.). In 3 games on the week, Julianne averaged 14 points and 8.3 rebounds per game. Conrad was also named GNAC Rookie of the Week for the week of January 13. Conrad had 21 points in Suffolk's 58-46 victory over Lesley University on Thursday.

Both teams are in action this week as both travel to Emmanuel for a doubleheader on Wednesday, and then up to Vermont for a doubleheader at Norwich on Saturday.
