The Suffolk Athletic Department is offering a Knee Injury Prevention Clinic to all Suffolk student-athletes on Wed. Nov. 19 at 3:30 p.m. in Regan Gym.
The interactive clinic and workout will help student athletes prevent ACL knee injuries. Medical professionals from Massachusetts General Hospital Sports Medicine will give specific pre-season, post-season and pre-game workout drills for the prevention of injuries to the anterior cruciate ligament.
Participants should come dressed to participate. Reserve a spot by calling Jeff Stone, Suffolk Athletic Trainer at 617-573-8379.
Medical professionals in the program will include Dr. Peter Asnis, Orthopedic surgeon and Suffolk Team Physician, Lisa Woodbury, ATC, from MGH physical therapy and Anne Viser, ATC, PT from MGH physical therapy.
The clinic is sponsored by the Suffolk University Athletic Department and Sports Medicine and endorsed by the Suffolk Student-Athlete Advisory Board.
