• Wes Savick Opens New Play

10/14/2008

Wesley Savick, Associate Professor of Theatre, directs his original play Miss Margaret LaRue in ‘Milwaukee’ at Boston Playwright’s Theatre this fall.
The title character, Miss Margaret was once a big screen star, but where is she now? A nostalgic look at all of our hometowns, Miss Margaret LaRue in ‘Milwaukee’ has garnered rave reviews from local critics.

“Where we’re from shapes us, even if it’s a place we left a long time ago,” Savick told The Boston Globe for their October 3 profile of the play.

Featuring an ensemble cast of Boston favorites—including Steven Barkhimer*, Alice Duffy*, Shannon Garland, Tom Kee*, Robert D. Murphy*, Rick Park*, Ed Peed*, Evan Sanderson and BPT Artistic Director Kate Snodgrass*.
