• "Masters In Trial" Demonstration

From the American Board of Trial Advocates and Advanced Legal Studies

7:45 a.m. - 5:15 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, 2008
Suffolk University Law School
120 Tremont St., Boston

The Massachusetts Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates and the Law School's Advanced Legal Studies program present "Masters in Trial,"demonstrating how experienced trial lawyers conduct a trial – without war stories.

This mock trial, involving a plaintiff seeking civil damages following an auto accident, will take place before a presiding judge and a real jury, complete with witnesses, experts and courtroom visuals. Trial team counsel are well known and highly respected in their fields. The jury will render a verdict in the case, with real-time jury deliberations broadcast into the seminar room.

Educating attorneys in the art of trial advocacy has been a primary goal of the Foundation of the American Board of Trial Advocates since its inception.

The program is of value both to attorneys just beginning their trial practice, as well as experienced attorneys interested in new ideas and methods.
