Workshop presents best practices in higher education

Jane Thierfeld Brown and Lorraine Wolfe, two of the leading national authorities on Autism and Asperger’s Syndrome, will speak about the impact of these disorders on higher education from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, October 14, 2008, at Suffolk University Law School, 120 Tremont St., Boston.

Brown, director of student services of the University of Connecticut School of Law, and Wolfe, director of the Office of Disability Services at Boston University, are the authors of A Professional Guide to Students with Asperger’s Syndrome in Higher Education, due to be released this fall.

The program is sponsored by Suffolk University Law School Dean of Students Office; NASPA Region I, Disability Concerns Knowledge Community; and the Boston Disability Leadership Consortium.
