• Professor Beinecke Co-authors Another Outstanding Article

Professor Rick Beinecke has just published "Commentary: Client Involvement in Public Administration Research and Evaluation" in The Innovation Journal: The Public Sector Innovation Journal 13(1) Article 7, 1-10.

Rick co-authored the article with Jon Delman, a major mental health consumer researcher. It builds on the Ryan White Voices of Experience work that Rick has done with Professor Sandy Matava as well as Rick’s work doing research with mental health consumers and families. It argues that mental health consumers should collaborate with university faculty on research as full partners and outlines different ways of doing so. The Innovation Journal is an important public administration on-line journal. Rick is currently editing a special edition on leadership for it.

In addition, in press for winter 2008-2009 is an issue of the International Journal of Mental Health, co-edited by Rick and Allen Daniels of the University of Cincinnati, "Global Mental Health Workforce and Leadership Needs, Competencies, and Model Programs." It contains three articles co-authored by Rick.

Congratulations and thanks to Professor Beinecke for his important work.
