• Dr. Arjun Rao Receives Suffolk University Alumni Service Award

7/2/2008

Dr. Rao, MBA ’03, is this year’s recipient of the Suffolk University Alumni Service Award. He is a senior Consultant, Center for Quality and Safety, Massachusetts General Hospital. He earned his medical degree in his home country of India, and, at MGH, he and his team work to mitigate the incidences of medical error.

Dr. Rao received the Service Award in recognition of his extraordinary and sustained support of Career Services. He shines in his support of Suffolk University-- in particular, in its mission to not just educate, but to place students on career paths that are as rewarding as they are remunerative. In support of Career Services’ effort to place Suffolk University’s students, Dr. Rao participates in international student programs run by the Center for International Education. He’s a participant in the annual career panel, and students are referred to him for advice and guidance. He’s always willing to spend time with students, and he forwards job listings and encourages students to work at MGH.

We offer congratulations and thanks to Dr. Rao for his efforts.
