• Liz Geagan, MHA ’05, joins the Sawyer Business School Board

Liz Geagan is the first alumnus to represent the Healthcare Programs in several years. She was selected for the Board because of her professional accomplishments and dedication to Suffolk University. One of her goals as a Board member is to help facilitate a stronger internship, mentoring and career growth network for Suffolk students and alumni.

Liz is a founding member of the Suffolk University Healthcare Administration Alumni Council (SUHAAC). She helped to establish the Council’s purpose and has served as an advisor on important issues affecting the Healthcare Programs. She has also provided mentoring and assistance to students in resume development and finding internships.

Liz has eight years of experience in healthcare and human services. Currently, she is Administrative Director for the Division of Endocrine at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), where she makes sure everything flows, from the front desk to human resources to fiscal management. Previously, she was the manager for the Diabetes Center at MGH and, before that, she managed business operations for the Institute for the Clinical Research and Health Policy Studies at New England Medical Center.

Liz earned her B.S. degree in Exercise Physiology at Skidmore College.

The students and faculty in the Healthcare Programs offer congratulations and thanks to Liz for her dedication to Suffolk University and the process of continuous learning.
