Writing a Business Plan

With David Hartstein, BSBA ’85, MBA’86
President and CEO, KaBloom

“If you know not to what port you’re steering, no wind is good.” West African Proverb

If you don’t have a plan, where are you going and how will you get there?  If you can’t write it, how can you manage it?  If you can’t write it, how can you engage others in what you’re trying to achieve?  If you can’t write it, define your objectives, strategy, tactics, and mission, why should someone invest in it?

Most businesses without a well considered plan of action will fail.  Learn how to develop a well thought-out plan to ensure your success.

David Hartstein, founder of KaBloom as well as its president, has extensive international experience in corporate strategy, new business development, entrepreneurship and operations for a diverse range of retail and consumer products organizations.  Mr. Hartstein is also an Executive in Residence at the Sawyer Business School.
