Law Student Named "Best Oral Advocate"

Michael Forte and Sean Stentiford represented Suffolk Law School in the American Constitutional Law Society's Constance Baker Motley National Moot Court Competition, advancing through the first two rounds of the competition at Georgetown University Law Center.

Forte and Stentiford received special recognition for the brief they submitted, and Forte received the award as the Best Oral Advocate in the competition.

He had previously tasted success as part of the Suffolk team that won the Craven Constitutional Law Competition in 2006.

The Motley competition drew 28 schools from all over the eastern United States, including Georgetown, the University of Chicago, Columbia, Northeastern, Pace, George Washington, and New England School of Law.

The team was eliminated when the field ultimately narrowed down to 8 teams.
