The Ford Hall Forum at Suffolk University presents "The Political Mind: Why You Can't Understand 21st Century American Politics with an 18th Century Brain," a lecture by Professor George Lakoff, Professor of Cognitive Science & Linguistics at the University of California, Berkeley & Senior Fellow at the Rockridge Institute.

The Ford Hall Forum fosters an informed and effective citizenry and promotes freedom of speech through the public presentation of lectures, debates and discussions. Its events illuminate the key issues facing our society by bringing to its podium knowledgeable and thought-provoking speakers, including some of the most controversial opinion leaders of our times.
