The International Law Society in conjunction with Suffolk Transnational Law Review will be hosting a panel discussion on the recently decided United States Supreme Court Case Medellin v. Texas. The case involves a Mexican national currently on death row in Texas and centers on the treaty obligations of the United States, states' rights, and the rights of foreign nationals. The event will accompany the forthcoming publication of Medellin v. Texas: A Symposium by Transnational Law Review.

Panelists will include: John Cerone, associate professor of law and director of the Center for Law and Policy, New England School of Law; and Jeffrey Pokorak, associate professor of law and director of Clinical Programs, Suffolk University Law School.
