Globalization and Militarization and the Impact on Women Worldwide

Dr. Cynthia Enloe analyzes the overt and subtle roles militarism plays in the lives of men and women and challenges us to identify militarism in all its forms. Dr. Enloe is a Research Professor in International Development (IDCE) and Women’s Studies at Clark University.

Dr. Enloe is the author of many provocative and passionate books including "Globalization and Militarism: Feminists Make the Link", "Bananas, Beaches, and Bases: Making Sense of International Politics", and "Maneuvers: The International Politics of Militarizing Women's Lives".
