Acquire knowledge about the impact of racism on the mental and social lives of college students and share community healing solutions with Boston psychologist Terri Davis. The overarching goal of the talk is to create a more caring community at Suffolk by opening up dialogue around issues of racism in relation to mental health, in particular, for taking anti-racist stances. Coping strategies for dealing with racism and resulting depression and ways to work to eradicate racism will be discussed.

Food will be served.
