Law School Team Wins New England Championship

Suffolk University Law School’s National Trial Competition Team won its seventh straight New England Championship in the American College of Trial Lawyers National Trial Competition in February.

The team of Amy Martin and John Martin defeated teams from New England, Boston College, Quinnipiac, and Maine en route to the championship.

The Martin team will travel to Austin, Texas, March 26 to represent the Law School and the New England Region in the final phase of the competition."

Most Outstanding Advocate

Amy Martin also became the sixth Suffolk Law School student to win the Judy Potter Award for the tournament's Most Outstanding Advocate. 

The team of Thomas Hook and Peter Jamieson did well against teams from Northeastern, Quinnipiac, and Franklin Pierce.

The National Trial Competition is the nation's oldest and most prestigious mock trial competition.
