• Theatre Department Alumni Shine on Stage


The New Year has ushered in a flurry of activity for Suffolk University Theatre Department alumni on the local stage.
• Jonathan Orsini ’07, who made a big splash last year with Company One’s After Ashley, stars as a heartthrob hustler in SpeakEasy Stage Company’s The Little Dog Laughed. The hilarious hit Broadway Satire runs January 18 – February 16 at the Wimberley Theatre in the Boston Center for the Arts.
• A mini-Suffolk reunion ran at the Boston Playwrights’ Theatre January 25-February 3. Molly Kimmerling ’06, Lesley Anne Moreau ’06, and Mike DiLoreto ’04 appeared in Little Red Hen, a Useless Theatre Company production.
• Lindsey Darling ’05 is featured in The Footlight Club’s production of Rumors by Neil Simon in Jamaica Plain, February 1-10.
• Nael Nacer ’06 works with sometime Suffolk faculty Melinda Lopez in her new play Gary at Boston Playwrights’ Theatre, February 28 – March 16. Suffolk faculty Richard Chambers designed the set.
• Jaime Montesano ’05 appears in the family classic Peter Pan at the Wheelock Family Theatre, February 1 – March 2.
• Alison Perone, ’07, is working backstage crew for the American Repertory Theatre production of Julius Caesar.
• Erin Schrutt, ’07, continues her cross-country tour with the Missoula Children’s Theatre.
