• Law Alumni, Students Get Pointers On Starting A Law Practice

10/29/2007

More than 20 law alumni and 30 law students attended an alumni-led panel presentation entitled "Starting Your Own Practice." It occurred on October 29 at David J. Sargent Hall.

John Anastasi JD ’94 and Thomas Sullivan JD ’94, of Lowrie, Lando, & Anastasi LLP, presented the "nuts and bolts" of starting a practice as well as offering insights based on their years of experience.

Attorney Anastasi and Attorney Sullivan invited five colleagues who had been instrumental in helping them launch the practice to participate in the presentation. The session was one of several workshops co-sponsored by the Alumni Association in partnership with the Law School Office of Financial Aid.

The next workshop, entitled "Homebuying Seminar", will occur at David J. Sargent Hall, 120 Tremont St., on Thursday, Nov. 29. A light dinner begins at 5:30 p.m., and the program starts at 7 p.m. RSVP to Annamarie Mueller or call 617-305-1999.
