Moot Court Honor Board to hear final trial presentations

The Moot Court Honor Board presents the Final Round of the 3rd-Year Day ~ 4th-Year Evening Trial Competition on Wednesday, October 17th from 6pm-9pm. The finalists will present a mock trial before a panel of four judges from the Suffolk County Judiciary. The panel of judges will consist of Justice Merita Hopkins from the Suffolk Superior Court, First Justice Kathleen E. Coffey from the West Roxbury Division of the Boston Municipal Court, Associate Justice Mary Ann Driscoll from the West Roxbury Division of the Boston Municipal Court, as well as Associate Justice Michael Coyne from the Central Division of the Boston Municipal Court.

In addition, the Harold Goodwin Memorial Fund Committee will also be present to award the winners of the competition with a cash prize. The Goodwin Memorial Fund was developed in an effort to improve trial advocacy at Suffolk Law School.  

The Office of Advancement and the Moot Court Board, in collaboration with the Goodwin Memorial Fund, will hold a reception honoring the competitors, judges and participants in the Faculty Dining Room at the conclusion of the competition.
