Assistant Professor/Set Designer Richard Chambers is currently in pre-production for Stoneham Theatre's production of Antoine Feval, which performs in January.

Assistant Professor Caitlin Langstaff performs in A Baker's Dozen at 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007, at the Friends Meeting House in Cambridge. The performance also features Sarah Cantor performing fantasias by Telemann for solo recorder with Baroque Dancer Ken Pierce and Yogi Aaron Cantor.

Theatre Department Technical Director Steve McIntosh is sound designer for Boston Playwrights' Theatre upcoming production of The Devil's Teacup, a new play by Nathan Lane (the other one) this month. He also designed the sound for The Nora Theatre's production of The Secret Love Life of Ophelia, directed by Associate Professor Wesley Savick.

Theatre Department Chair Marilyn Plotkins will lead a panel at the National Alliance for Music Theatre's annual conference in New York this month. Other panelists include directors of musical theatre programs from Baldwin Wallace University, Boston Conservatory, Carnegie Mellon University, and the University of Michigan and former Boston Music Theatre Project composer Mel Marvin. Marvin teaches at New York University's Tisch graduate program in musical theatre writing and recently composed the scores to the Broadway musicals Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! and Cymbeline.
