Suffolk University Offers MBA Options

2/4/2002

Built upon a mission of providing access to higher education, Suffolk University offers students four flexible MBA formats. Students can enroll in the full-time or part-time MBA programs in traditional classroom settings at Suffolk's campuses in Boston, Franklin, North Andover, or on Cape Cod. Alternatively, they can choose an Executive MBA format that meets Saturdays only or an Online MBA format that meets in cyberspace.

Across all formats, the Suffolk MBA, is a high-quality, internationally accredited degree. It is an 11-to-16-course MBA (depending upon previous educational background) and can be completed in 10 to 16 months full-time or 16 to 24 months part-time study.

In all formats, students can choose from a wide variety of international business electives and can explore the global economy in optional 1-week to 10-day international travel courses, which have included trips to: Argentina, Belgium, China, the Czech Republic, England, France, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Turkey, and South Africa.

In the full-time and part-time programs, students can customize their MBA to their career paths by choosing a concentration in any of the following: accounting, business law, computer information systems, e-commerce, entrepreneurship, finance, health administration, international business, information technology, managerial economics, marketing, not-for-profit management, organizational behavior, strategic management and taxation.

Campus students are guaranteed an uninterrupted path toward their degree because they can take classes in Boston, at any of the off-site locations, and online. This flexibility is highly beneficial for professionals in today's competitive and dynamic business economy.

Suffolk is the only school in New England to offer a "Saturday-only" Executive MBA. This unique format allows students to earn their MBA without interrupting their busy workweek and to have the support of a highly professional cohort of students.

Suffolk's Online eMBA is attractive to professionals whose jobs require near-constant travel, or whose lives do not permit a weekly commute to the traditional campus, every month of the traditional academic year. Students can complete the entire Suffolk MBA online or supplement their online courses with traditional campus courses. Online courses are taught by the same Suffolk faculty who teach in their bricks and mortar classrooms.
