Leading Experts Meet at Suffolk University to Conduct a "Teach-In on Terrorism"


Who: A respected and distinguished group of experts on terrorism and international law have agreed to meet and talk about the recent "Attack on America." Suffolk University students, faculty and staff are encouraged and welcome to attend and listen to:

  • Professor Valerie Epps, Suffolk University Law School;
  • Professor Michael Scharf, New England School of Law; and
  • Professor Hilary Charlesworth, Australian National University (Professor Charlesworth is currently serving as the Manley Hudson Visiting Professor at Harvard Law School).

What: Suffolk University Law School will host an old-fashioned "teach-in" on Thursday, September 20, 2001 from 4:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in Room 295 of Sargent Hall.
The title of this timely and informational gathering is: "Acts of War/Terrorism/Multiple Murder: Where do the recent attacks on the U.S. fit into the International Law Framework?"

When: Thursday, September 20, 2001, 4:30 p.m. -6:00 p.m.

Where: Suffolk University Law School, 120 Tremont Street, Boston, MA, Second Floor (Room 295)

Why:  In order to update Suffolk University Law School community about the national tragedy that began on September 11, 2001.
