Suffolk University's Government Department and Business 1060 AM Sponsor Debate Between Candidates for State Treasurer


WHO: Democratic candidate Timothy P. Cahill of Quincy faces off against Republican challenger Daniel A. Grabauskas of Ipswich and Green Party Candidate James O'Keefe of Somerville. Business 1060AM (WBIX) program director and host Mark Mills will moderate the debate. Panelists will include Business 1060AM host Upton Bell, Business 1060AM host and Boston Globe columnist Steve Bailey, Suffolk University adjunct professor and pollster David Paleologos, and a Suffolk University student.

WHAT: Debate between the candidates for Treasurer of the Commonwealthof Massachusetts. The format will be 60 minutes in length, with questions posed to the candidates delivered by a moderator and a panel. The debate is open to the public and will be broadcast live.

WHEN: Monday, September 30, 2002
3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Upton Bell will broadcast live)
4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Mark Mills will broadcast live)
5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Candidates debate)
