Come hang out with other Suffolk students at this monthly social event hosted by the Office of Diversity Services. The Sawyer Café will be open until 7:45, where you can purchase a variety of snacks and beverages before the event begins.

September 17 - "Ugly Betty" Marathon

Catch up on the first season where this everyday girl from Queens tries to fit in to the world of high fashion. Based on "Yo Soy Betty La Fea," the groundbreaking Colombian telenovela that became an international phenomenon, "Ugly Betty" is from ABC Television Studio.

October 15 - LGBT Jeopardy

Test your knowledge of LGBT history and pop culture. Win prizes and compete with your friends! Part of LGBT History Month.

November 19 - Transamerica

In honor of the National Transgender Day of Remembrance, we will show the ground-breaking film, Transamerica. Written and directed by Duncan Tucker, Transamerica is a Golden Globe Award-winning and Academy Award-nominated independent film that tells the story of Bree, a transgender woman (Felicity Huffman), who goes on a road trip with her long-lost son Toby (Kevin Zegers).
