Suffolk U. Sponsors First Annual 'The Taste of Beacon Hill'


Seventeen Beacon Hill food establishments have banded together to create the first annual "The Taste of Beacon Hill" on Thursday, March 29, at 6:30 p.m. at the Beacon Hill Ballroom in the Holiday Inn on Cambridge Street. The chefs, from restaurants including No. 9 Park, The Federalist, Lala Rokh, Ma Soba, Panificio, 75 Chestnut, and Torch, will showcase their menus by serving a variety of samplings. Guests will enjoy an impressive selection of foods and the company of honorary chair, The Honorable Mayor Thomas M. Menino.

The event will raise funds for the Wednesday Night Supper Club at the Paulist Center, serving the hungry full meals every Wednesday night at 6:00 p.m. In addition, net proceeds will benefit the Beacon Hill Business Association, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to showcasing Beacon Hill and its businesses while preserving the neighborhood's uniqueness. This event is sponsored by Suffolk University.

Ticket's for the first annual "The Taste of Beacon Hill" are $35 in advance/ $45 at the door, and can be purchased by mailing a check to "Taste of Beacon Hill", 66 Charles Street #451, Boston, MA 02114.
