The Barbara and Richard M. Rosenberg Institute for East Asian Studies sponsors visits from noted experts in the field of East Asian Studies throughout the academic year.
These scholars offer lectures, presentations, and classroom visits during their residency at the college.
The Rosenberg Visiting Scholars will make the following presentations during spring 2009:

Wang Chenguang, visiting professor of Law at Cornell University Law School, will be on campus in the 2009-210 academic year.
In fall 2008, the Rosenberg Institute presented Ronald Suleski, assistant director of The Center for Chinese Studies at Harvard University, who made a presentation on Confucius and Confucianism, and Hurst Hannum, professor of International Law, Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, who discussed Human Rights and China: Inside and Outside.
