The Suffolk University Law School faculty will participate in sessions on the economic bailout, health care reform, EDUCATION LAW, and globalization as the American Bar Association holds its 2009 Midyear Meeting in Boston.
Alasdair Roberts, Suffolk Law School’s Jerome L. Rappaport Professor of Law and Public Policy, will moderate the panel discussion “Managing the Bailout: Execution and Oversight of the Federal Response to the Financial Crisis.”
The presentation, from 4 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, at the Law School is sponsored by the Rappaport Center for Law and Public Service, Suffolk University Law School and the ABA Section of Business Law. A reception will follow.
Professor Victoria Dodd will moderate an Education Law panel at 9 a.m. Friday, Feb. 13, at the Copley Plaza Hotel. Panelists will discuss:
Law School Dean Alfred C. Aman, Jr., will discuss “The Domestic Face of Globalization: Administrative Law in a Public/Private World” as the keynote luncheon speaker at 12:15 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13, at the Fairmont Copley Plaza.
Professor Renée M. Landers will moderate “Implementing Health Reform: The Massachusetts Example” from 1:45 – 3:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13 at the Fairmont Copley Plaza.
The ABA Midyear Meeting will bring together more than 3,000 lawyers from Feb. 11 through 16.
