Taking a Trip Down Memory Lane
What: Suffolk University’s History Department will present a panel discussion, 1983 Mayoral Election: 20 Years Later, on Tuesday, November 18, 2003, from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m.
The Mayor of Boston’s Final Election was held on November 15, 1983. Now 20 years later, the candidates will appear together for the first time, looking back and sharing memories about one of the most hotly contested battles in the history of Boston politics.

Former Boston City Council President Lawrence DiCara
Former State Representative and Suffolk County Sheriff

Former Boston School Committee President David Finnegan
Panelists asking questions include: Boston Herald Chief Political Correspondent Wayne Woodlief; and State Representative and Author Brian P. Wallace.
Suffolk University History Professor Robert Allison will be the moderator.
