New York-based artist John L. Moore creates large canvases with abstracted references to mirrors, trees, and branches. These are signifiers for issues of self and race. Keeping the Invisible Secret is Moore’s first Boston-based exhibition.
The adjacent Project Space features a photo documentary exhibit by Suffolk University students. Suffolk University students traveled to Louisiana during spring break 2006 to provide vitally needed assistance in the post-Katrina cleanup. This project presents a selection of photographic images taken by the student volunteers.
Both exhibits run through November 3, 2006 at the New England School of Art & Design at Suffolk University, 75 Arlington Street, Boston.
Gallery hours: Monday-Friday 9am-9pm
