Suffolk's men's tennis team finished with a 4-1 Great Northeast Athletic Conference record to take second place in the standings. The Rams will host third seeded Emerson (3-2) in a GNAC tournament semifinal Thursday at 7 p.m. at Buckingham, Browne and Nichols School in Cambridge, MA.
Western New England (5-0) is the top seed and will host fourth seeded Johnson & Wales in a tournament semifinal Thursday. Thursday's semifinal winners will play for the GNAC Championship Sunday, April 29 at 1 p.m. on the campus of MIT.
In the regular GNAC season, Suffolk beat Emerson 6-3. The Rams' only GNAC loss came against WNEC. Suffolk has an 8-2 overall record.
