• Legal Issues in Global Warming

World Bank official to discuss creative approaches

2:30 - 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2007
Suffolk University Law School, Room 235
120 Tremont St., Boston

Dr. Anil Cabraal of the World Bank, author, with Suffolk Law School Professor Steven Ferrey, of Renewable Power in Developing Countries: Winning the War on Global Warming, will make a presentation as the Suffolk Transnational Law Review's annual distinguished speaker.

Cabraal is credited with much creative work around global warming in the international organization community. More than a decade ago, long before global warming became a notorious issue, he began to use new regulatory and legal mechanisms to impact the energy development and resultant carbon footprints in developing countries.

The talk is geared to members of the campus community who are interested in international relations, environmental, and infrastructure issues.

A reception follows.
