Suffolk Fares Well in Student Advocacy Competition

3/15/2007

Julian Allat, Jon Boutin, Adam Foss, and Amy Martin finished second in the Boston Region of the American Association of Justice's Student Advocacy Competition.

They defeated teams from Franklin Pierce Law School, Roger Williams Law School, American University Law School, and the University of Connecticut Law School before narrowly losing their final competition to 2005 Student Advocacy Competition National Champion Baylor University Law School.

The team's performance guarantees that for the third year in a row, Suffolk University will be ranked number one in the Northeast, based on a point system tabulated by the National Institute of Trial Advocacy.

Rohan Grant, Thom Hook, John Martin, and Evelyn Tang also competed in the Boston Region of the Student Advocacy Competition, facing teams from Baylor University law School, University of Connecticut Law School, and American University Law School.
