Richard Wendorf became the eleventh director of the Boston Athenaeum in 1997. His most recent books are After Sir Joshue and The Scholar Librarian, both published in 2005.

The Athenaeum’s second bicentennial publication, America’s Membership Libraries, will be issued in fall 2007.

The Suffolk University Centennial Partnership Series is presenting exciting concerts, lectures, and panel discussions for the Boston community throughout the 2006-2007 academic year at Suffolk’s newly renovated C. Walsh Theatre.
